Excited

In 31 hours I am going on a vacation all by myself for almost 5 days! Actually, it's not really by myself because I am going to Put-in-Bay to stay with Sarah for the second half of her band's run there. But it's as good as by myself because I don't have to worry about annoying Sarah. Her sisters are very much at the age where an innocent remark on my part is often taken as criticism, so I spend a lot of time thinking before I speak. That can get wearisome. Whereas with Sarah I am cut some slack and if I say something particularly obnoxious she will call me on it and then let it drop instead of brooding on it for the rest of the day. So I can relax and just be myself. Plus I think we have fun just hanging out together.

So I am leaving a to-do list for everyone to make sure things keep running and then I am free!
