But I Don't Have All the Answers

Adrienne is going through a difficult period. Probably related to her almost being 15. She doesn't want anything to change in her life--actually she wants to go back to being a little kid who doesn't have to worry about anything. And she worries that her best friend is going to get a boyfriend and ignore her, even though there's no boyfriend candidate in the vicinity. She wants me to assure her that this won't happen and that she'll find the right boy herself sometime, and that she'll have a fun trip when she goes to Nashville in a couple weeks...And I wish I could say everything will work out fine, but I can't say that honestly. And I am very honored that she is willing to share all her fears with me, her mother, but I wish I had the answers.
