So remember the Ken dolls I turned into Sam and Dean?
They got their own photo op at the con:

And I had each of the boys autograph the back of their respective simulacrum  :)

I'm getting a little better at remembering the experience (the first photo op I ever had with Jensen is a complete blank in my memory) and I do remember having my hand around Jensen and actually looking at him...Jared not so much--I don't think my brain can handle both at the same time!

I honestly don't remember them (or me) saying anything...but I was thrilled when I saw their faces in the first photo, they must have gotten a kick out of them to react like that!

What a priceless pair of pictures! I am sure they will remember those dolls and how faithfully you reproduced their clothing for them. Just as I am sure many complimentary words and exclamations were expressed by them, that are still buried in your memory. They are adorable in the first picture and look very pleased with their doll doubles in the second. And you... you just look PLEASED. Who wouldn't? :)

I read about them on Hells_Half_Acre's journal, and how they got treated by that not-to-be-spoken-of-ever-again man *growls* and I'm really happy they got some attention from the boys.

They deserve that - the dolls are amazing! And the leather-jacket! Oh, how I miss that jacket *sniff*
Did you make the clothes all on your own? Or is there a shop for stuff like that somewhere?

Anyway, really cool work and I'd be giddy over these pictures too.

I did the face repaints of the dolls and I found the clothes online--I was looking for boots for them and found the perfect wardrobe so I went with it, though I did have to take the jacket apart and recut it smaller.

And now they have autographs on their backs!

And that's Dean's pistol that Jensen is holding in the doll's hand. The Sam doll has Ruby's knife, and the first thing Jensen and Jared did was check out the weaponry :)
